Choosing bedding involves more than finding a beautiful color. Mattress dimensions, fabric characteristics, duvet sizes, washing instructions, delivery timing, and return eligibility can all make a difference.
We created this guide to answer the questions customers ask most often, while keeping the information straightforward and easy to understand.
Orders & Payments
Information about placing an order, confirmation emails, order changes, payment, and what happens after checkout.
How do I know if my order was placed successfully?
After checkout, an order confirmation is normally sent to the email address provided during purchase. If you do not see it, check your spam or promotional folders before contacting customer support.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change an order. Changes may not be possible once an order has entered fulfillment or been handed to a shipping carrier.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellation requests should be sent as quickly as possible. If the order has already been processed or shipped, cancellation may no longer be available and return procedures may apply instead.
What should I do if I entered the wrong address?
Contact customer support immediately with your order number and the correct information. Once a package has shipped, we may not be able to change the destination.
Shipping & Delivery
Delivery timing can vary depending on destination, carrier conditions, fulfillment volume, holidays, weather, and other circumstances.
How can I track my order?
Once tracking information is available, you can use the tracking information associated with your shipment to follow its progress. Newly created tracking numbers may take some time to show activity.
Why has my tracking not updated?
A carrier may receive shipment information before the first physical scan takes place. Tracking can also remain unchanged while a package is moving between facilities.
What if my package says delivered but I cannot find it?
Check around your property, mailbox, parcel area, reception desk, building management area, and with household members or neighbors. If the package remains missing, contact the carrier and VelvetNest.
Can weather or holidays affect delivery?
Yes. Carrier congestion, severe weather, holidays, transportation interruptions, customs procedures, and other events may affect estimated delivery timing.

How do I choose the correct sheet size?
Start with your mattress width and length, then measure mattress depth including any topper. Compare those measurements with the product-specific Size Guide before ordering.
Will a fitted sheet fit a thick mattress?
Fitted sheet depth matters as much as mattress width and length. If your mattress includes a topper or pad, include its additional height when measuring.
Are colors exactly the same as they appear online?
We make every effort to display colors accurately, but differences in screens, lighting, brightness, and display settings can affect how a color appears in person.
Do natural fabrics change after washing?
Cotton and other natural textile fibers can experience subtle changes in hand feel, appearance, or dimensions after washing. Following the recommended care instructions helps maintain the intended performance.

How often should I wash my bedding?
Washing frequency depends on personal preference, climate, sleeping habits, and whether pets share the bed. Regular laundering helps keep bedding fresh and comfortable.
Should I wash new bedding before using it?
Washing new bedding before first use can help remove residual manufacturing or packaging odors and allow the fabric to reach its intended hand feel.
How should I dry bedding?
Follow the product care label. Avoid unnecessarily high heat, as excessive heat can contribute to shrinkage, fiber stress, or changes in texture.
Protecting the Feel
Can I use fabric softener?
Fabric softeners are not always necessary and may coat textile fibers over time. Follow the specific care instructions provided with your product.
How should I treat a small stain?
Treat stains promptly using a method suitable for the specific fabric. Avoid aggressive scrubbing or strong chemicals that may alter color or damage fibers.
